Thengai Sambal / Coconut Sambol

Recipe

Dried red chilies – 3 nos
Kashmiri red chilies – 3 nos

Add a tsp of coconut oil and fry the chilies till it turns aromatic

Add the fried chillies in a mixer
Salt to taste
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Grind it well
Shallots – 8 to 10 nos
Curry leaves
Crush’m
Grated coconut – 1 cup
Crush until it’s combined well
Juice of 1 whole lime
Coconut oil – 1 tsp
Mix well and enjoy 🤗

Goes perfect with idiyappam, roti, Chapathi or even
with rice 😙🤌
