Indulge in the wholesome goodness of ‘Lobia Dosa’, made with nutritious lobia (black-eyed peas), making it the perfect guilt-free recipe to enjoy anytime.



½ cup black eyed peas (lobia), soaked for 6-7 hours and drained
1/8 cup cooked rice
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 green chill, stemmed
½ inch ginger, roughly chopped
10-12 fresh coriander sprigs
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking
Coconut chutney for serving


1. Transfer the black eyed peas in a grinder jar. Add rice, cumin seeds, green chilli, ginger, coriander, salt and 1 cup water and grind to a coarse paste.
2. Heat a tawa. Brush some oil and spread a ladleful batter, drizzle some oil and cook on medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
3. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
